Why it stands out

  • 4,963 ratings is a large enough pool that one unhappy week does not move the number much.
  • The listing is badged Best Seller within its category.
  • It is badged Amazon's Choice in its category.
  • Recent sales volume on the listing reads 5K+ bought in past month.

Who it may suit

  • This protein-rich snack is ideal for backyard flock owners looking to support molting birds or encourage stronger eggshells.
  • It also works wonderfully for anyone who enjoys scattering treats to promote natural foraging behavior.
  • Owners of reptiles and wild birds might find these larvae to be a highly appealing diet supplement.

What to consider

  • We publish no price on principle — a number frozen on this page would be wrong by the time you read it.
  • Always remember that grubs should strictly supplement a complete feed diet rather than replace main meals.
  • Since animal preferences vary, skimming recent customer feedback can help determine how quickly different flocks adapt to the texture.
  • Ratings and rankings as of Sep 25, 2026. Amazon may have moved since then, so treat the numbers as a starting point.
